"Jenny and I hired Michelle King and DJ Mighty Joe for our wedding reception, and couldn't have wished for a better experience. Right from the start the whole evening went smoothly and everyone had fun.
Some items for the reception were provided by us (place markers, party favors, sign-in book etc) so we asked Michelle to place these during the reception set up. When we arrived, everything was placed exactly as we requested, and the guests were already mingling and enjoying the hors d'oeuvres. Michelle kept things running smoothly and on time throughout the whole evening.
I liked the way she kept us informed of what was happening next (very helpful). She ensured the guests signed the sign-in book, and asked them if any wanted to make a toast. She organized some things 'on the fly' to the best effect, such as the toasts and speeches, as well as some 'last minute' seating reassignments. She also devised a fair way to determine who would take home the flower arrangements, and even remembered to return the cake stand to us to reclaim the deposit!
Frankly, I don't know how we could have done it without Michelle. Plus, Mighty Joe's music was perfectly judged for the audience and kept them dancing an hour longer than we anticipated. Even my father was dancing (which is quite an achievement). Overall, we were both very pleased with everything, and we heartily recommend both Michelle and
Mighty Joe for your event."
